The event we all knew was coming has finally occurred. Lilly is taller than Laura who shall be hereinafter referred to as “Shorty”. For whatever reason, Lilly asked me to measure her the other night. After measuring Lilly at 63.5 inches, which is about 5′-3″, it dawned on me that Shorty is roughly 5′-3″ tall herself. The tape measure was already out, so I had to confirm. Yep, Shorty was indeed the 5′-3″ she tells everyone. After a back to back comparison, I can confirm Lilly is now taller than Shorty. Any bets on Katie? I’m going to say overtakes Shorty by fifth grade as well.
