Hilton Head

We visited Hilton Head for Spring break this year and had a great time. We played volleyball on the beach, rode bikes around town, and ate entirely too much. I even found some time to play a round robin at the nearby Van Der Meer tennis center. The weather couldn’t have been better. The high every day was between 75 and 78 and it never rained.

We stayed at the Sonesta resort in the Shipyard community. The resort was great and had a lot of great amenities like lounging nooks, hammocks, ping pong, corn hole, and beach access that made for a fun stay. We started every day with breakfast at the resort then either the beach or biking or exploring and finished with dinner out. I really enjoyed it all, but renting bicycles and exploring the area was probably my favorite activity. In hindsight, it was a really good way to see the area, which really is beautiful minus the alligators. On that subject, can someone explain why man eating dinosaurs are allowed to lurk in every puddle of water?
